For big dogs that love to tug! This is a larger, longer version of our original Tugmutt with a loop of ½ inch diameter industrial grade bungee cord providing the spring action. The Tugmutt XL has an ergonomic D shaped handle making it easy to hold and reduces the pull on your shoulder and arm.
The strong powerful stretch of the bungee cord gives your dog a good workout that burns a ton of energy in a short time. Just like a handheld springpole this toy will help condition your dog building strength and stamina.
Every Tugmutt XL comes with one of our large Velcro Carabiners and a large rope loop bite target. The Velcro Carabiner allows you to easily detach or switch out any suitable bite target that you want to use. It’s important for dogs to eventually win possession of a tug toy so they don’t get bored and frustrated, the velcro carabiner makes this easy.
I got this because other tug toys get destroyed quickly by my xl american bully. My dogs enjoy playing with this.

The concept for the TugMutt is great. Will definitely help keep your arm in its socket. The only complaint is the rope that it comes with shreds after first initial play time. My 1 year old German Shepherd tugged at it a few times and that was it pieces of thread everywhere. Now I have to order another replacement tug attachment and wait for that to come in mail. So in the meantime it has turned into a decorative item in our home.
I haven't used it yet...but I have one already..I know it's a great product
